Aamir reveals which Pakistani cricketer ruined his marriage
Entertainment News: The veteran Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has made an interesting revelation about his first marriage. The actor got married to Reena Dutta in 1986. After twelve years of marriage, the couple decided to part ways. This started a tough period in the actor's life. However, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has revealed a funny incident that occurred on his wedding night. In an interview with Lallantop, Aamir told everyone about the incident that happened due to a famous Pakistani cricketer.
The Bollywood superstar, who is in talks for his recent super-hit, Sitare Zameen Par, told the Lallantop that Pakistan's former cricketer, Javed Miandad, ruined his first wedding night. "I remember this is the same day when Javed Miandad sahab hit a six on the last ball in Sharjah. This is the same day, the same day we got married. She went to her home after marriage, and I went to mine. We thought that someone would ask where we had gone, but no one asked; everyone was busy in the match," said Aamir.
The actor also said, "We were winning that match, so I was happy that we were winning the match on the wedding day. It is a day of happiness, and if we defeat Pakistan on the same day, it will be even more fun. He says that I don't know from where I hit a six on the last ball. I was very depressed."
Aamir recalls his first meeting with the former Pakistani batter was on a flight. He told Javed that he did not do well and said, "You ruined my marriage." When Miandad asked about the incident, Aamir told him that because of that one six, he went into depression.
The Bollywood superstar was last seen in the movie 'Sitare Zameen Par,' which has crossed the 200 crore mark within two weeks of its release. The movie proved to be profitable after it was made with a budget of 90 crores. The movie's plot was based on the basketball team of people with Down syndrome, which managed to win people's hearts.
